Short version: we don't collect anything, because there's nothing here to collect it with.

No data leaves your browser

Every tool on QuietInvoice runs entirely as client-side code in your own browser tab. When you type your business details, a client's address, or an invoice line item into a form here, that information is processed locally on your device. It is never sent to a server, because these pages don't have one. They're static files with no backend to send data to.

No cookies

We don't set any cookies. Not for tracking, not for preferences.

No analytics, no trackers

There is no analytics script, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, and no third-party embed anywhere on this site. We genuinely don't know how many people visit, what they click, or where they came from.

localStorage stays on your device

The invoice generator can save what you've typed so it's still there if you close the tab and come back later. It does this using your browser's localStorage, a feature built into every browser that stores data only on your own device. We never see this data, it's never transmitted anywhere, and you can erase it any time with the "Clear / start over" button on the tool itself, or by clearing your browser's site data.

Logo uploads never leave your device

If you upload a logo image in the invoice generator, your browser reads that file locally (using the standard FileReaderAPI) to show it in the preview and print output. The file is never uploaded to a server. There is no server for it to go to.

Why this is GDPR-proof

GDPR and similar data protection laws regulate the collection, storage, and processing of personal data by a controller. We don't collect, store, or process any personal data at all. There's simply nothing on our end to protect, because nothing ever arrives here. Anything you type stays in your own browser, on your own device, under your own control.
