Where this list actually lives
Every contact you add is saved only in this browser’s local storage, on this device: nothing is sent to a server, because this tool doesn’t have one. That also means the list lives in this browser on this device only. If you switch browsers or computers, it won’t follow you unless you bring it yourself. Download the CSV as a backup whenever the list matters, and if you ever want the data gone, clearing this site’s data from your browser removes it for good. What the two downloads are for
“Download contacts” exports everyone currently in your list as a CSV file, with a Name, Company, Email, Phone, and Notes column, ready to open in Excel or Google Sheets. “Download empty template” skips the tool entirely and gives you just that header row, for when you’d rather type contacts straight into a spreadsheet from the start.
A list, not a CRM
This tool keeps names, contact details, and a notes field: nothing tracks deals, pipelines, or communication history. If that’s what you actually need, this is a place to start collecting who your customers are, not the place to run the relationship from.

Where does my customer data actually live?
Everything you type stays only in this browser’s local storage on your device. Nothing is sent to a server. If you switch browsers or computers, the data does not follow you unless you download the CSV and bring it yourself.
Can I import existing customer data?
No. This tool does not have an import feature. You can add customers one at a time using the form, or download an empty template CSV and fill it in a spreadsheet, then type the names into the tool.
Is this a CRM?
No. It is a contact list only: names, company, email, phone, and notes. It does not track deals, pipelines, communication history, or customer interactions. If you need full CRM features, this is a place to start collecting names, not a place to run the relationship.
Can I sort or filter the list?
Yes. You can sort by name or company using the buttons above the list. You can also search the list by name, company, or email.
What if I accidentally delete a customer?
If you delete someone, the only way to recover them is from a CSV backup you downloaded earlier. The tool does not have an undo feature. Keep regular backups by downloading the CSV.
